The hotel is settled on over 10 acres and feels completely secluded from the rest of the world. The resort prides itself on handcrafting an experience that feels luxurious yet organic. The hotel offers rooms within the primary buildings. Go on a short hike, and you’ll find their private cabins and Airstream, where you can rest in the middle of nature.
The Chalet View Lodge also has several other accommodations that will make your wedding as relaxing as possible. You can grab some drinks at the brewery or stop by the pool and hot tub to soak while gazing out into the woods. The resort also features a golf course where you can play a few rounds throughout your weekend. In total, the hotel has 52 spots where guests can stay.
Details of the Grounds
Most Chalet View Lodge couples choose to use the exterior of the space for their wedding. This positively dreamy space looks out into the woods, giving you views of the lush forestry and quiet cabins. Most of these areas are set up on the golf course with meticulously maintained grass, so your guests don’t have to feel like Laura Ingalls Wilder for the day. You will be able to put your archway wherever you’d like. If you would prefer to have an inside wedding, you can speak with the venue, and they can set you up in the Event Center. If you prefer a climate-controlled space that lets you remain up close and personal with nature, try the All-Weather Site. This space gives you a clear tent that will make you feel like you’re in the midst of the wilderness, but only with modern accommodations.
For an outdoor reception, many couples choose to utilize the ceremony spaces. You can string up bistro lights if you’d like, and the venue can provide you with more efficient lighting. You can also bring in a DJ and set up a dance floor on the lawn. For an indoor reception, you can use the Event Center. This area features high ceilings, wooden floors, and plenty of space for you to celebrate with your guests. Finally, the All-Weather Site gives you a great option for a romantic yet contained space. You will have a dance floor on top of the lawn and will be able to decorate the tent however you choose. It’s the ideal option for a bug-free meal!

The Chalet View Lodge wedding venue gives you several spaces you can use for your cocktail hour. For an outdoor option, you can rent the Airstream area and set up a bartender just on the exterior. This option will let you incorporate lawn games while giving your guests plenty of cozy spaces to relax. The venue features a deck and terrace where you can similarly set up drink services. The brewery will also let your guests try some pretty fantastic local options.

My favorite thing about this space is how much it incorporates the surroundings while still ensuring you have a luxurious space for your wedding. All of the buildings look like rustic cabins, and natural shrubbery is planted throughout. The Lounge near the Event Center gives you modern decor with wooden rafted ceilings and a four-sided fireplace. The Event Center itself features white walls and a wooden cathedral ceiling.
Photography Opportunities
The Chalet View Lodge is full of spaces we can use for your wedding portraits. The well-lit get-ready rooms will give you fabulous pictures prior to the ceremony. The small wilderness pockets will give you organic pictures without requiring you to hike in your dress. For couples’ portraits, you can use The Greenhouse. This space is functioning and will give you verdant portraits. The golf holes are ideal for group portraits, and the Airstream will provide you with an amazing backdrop!
