Details of the Grounds

Most people choose to hold their ceremony on the Grand Rooftop Terrace. Here, you will have a paved area that overlooks the lake as well as the mountain. The venue has set up a wooden pergola that you can use as your backdrop as you exchange vows.

For an indoor ceremony, you can use the Lakeside Ballroom. This area is elegant with white crown molding, blue patterned carpet, and a retractable glass wall that will let you bring the outdoors in. The space also has cream-colored walls, so you can easily incorporate your wedding decor without worrying about it clashing.

Both of the ceremony spaces can be converted into a reception space. With the Lakeside Ballroom, you will have a climate-controlled space for more intimate gatherings. The Grand Rooftop Terrace will grant you more room and has the ability to be tented if you would prefer. Bistro lights will illuminate the space late into the night, and you’ll be able to party while enjoying mountain views.

Even More Spaces For Your Dream Wedding at The Landing Tahoe

Many couples choose to have a bar out on the terrace so their guests can enjoy a cocktail immediately following their ceremony. You can also choose to place your bar in the Lakeside Ballroom and keep the glass wall open so your guests can move in and out.

With The Landing Tahoe Wedding venue, you will be able to rent out several rooms where you can get ready ahead of your ceremony. With this option, you will be able to hit up the spa throughout your wedding weekend. You can stay the night here following your rehearsal dinner and come back to your room once your wedding is over.

The Grand Rooftop Terrace will hold up to 150 guests for both your wedding and your ceremony. Inside, the Lakeside Ballroom can seat up to 100 people for your ceremony and 80 people for your reception.

The Grand Rooftop Terrace stands close to the water with a lookout that shows off the beach, the lake, and the surrounding mountains. There is a small stone wall that provides a border without obstructing your view. The modular-shaped building next to the terrace has a rustic wooden exterior. There are cedars that will tower over your guests, elevating the natural beauty of this setting. Inside the Lakeside Ballroom, you will have a refined atmosphere with elegant touches, such as their statement light fixtures.

Photography Opportunities

Most couples adore The Landing Tahoe Wedding venue because it gives you the chance to get nature-filled portraits without having to journey too far. Following your ceremony, you and your partner will be able to take a stroll through the woods and get pictures in the midst of the forest. Once you’re done there, you can head over to the beach and take pictures with the lake in the backdrop. Once it’s time to get family pictures, you can go out onto the terrace and get pictures against the balcony. With this option, people of all ages and abilities will be able to help you make memories. The pergola will be the perfect space for well-lit couples’ portraits. If you want a picture with the hotel name in the background, you can head over to the entrance carport, where the logo is illuminated with marquee lights.

Throughout your day, you will have servers who will hand out plates, refill drinks, and assist with cake cutting. The venue will provide tables, chairs, china, linens, and glassware. They can set up your party ahead of time, so all you have to worry about is enjoying your day. There is parking on-site. SHALL WE MEET?

HI FRIENDS

I’m Kirsten—a wedding photographer here to guide you through this wildly exciting time…and toward the best lighting.

Ever since my days in the highschool darkroom, I’ve been enamored with the power images have to tell a compelling story. I went on to study photography and fashion at Savannah College of Art & Design and worked as an editor for a studio before founding Kirsten Marie Photography in 2012. Every day since, and I’ve fallen deeper in love with the art of wedding photography—there’s just nothing quite as fascinating and fulfilling as documenting the tenderness weddings bring out in people.

As someone who’s fairly spotlight-shy, I know how awkward being photographed can feel—which is why I work to bring an atmosphere of ease (and a wicked sharp sense of humor) to our time together. I pour my whole heart into hyping you up, getting you the material you deserve, and making sure you feel comfortable and cared for.

Beyond the lens, I’m a mom to two feisty girls. Translation: there’s no group I can’t wrangle, no mountain I can’t summit, and no trail I can’t traverse. While you’re soaking in sunsets and sipping champagne—you can find me crawling through bushes and traipsing through snowpack to get the best angle…and loving every single second of it.
